Hannah Mira Friedland is the Manager of Strategic Projects at Main Street America (MSA), where she works closely with departmental leads and external partners to implement and monitor MSA’s strategic projects and grant and loan programs. These federal, corporate, and foundation-sponsored grant programs include the National Park Service Main Street Community Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Program, Hometown Grants Program, and Inclusive Backing Grant Program for small businesses.

Previously, Hannah Mira served as Senior Membership and Program Assistant at MSA, supporting MSA's national member network and assisting with workshops and toolkit development for the NPS Main Street Community Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Program. Originally from Glenview, Illinois, Hannah Mira graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she earned a B.A. in geography, concentration in urban studies, and minor in religious studies. Prior to joining Main Street America in March of 2020, she led experiential education programming at the Jewish Community Project in New York City, Camp Havaya in Pennsylvania, and Hubbard Woods School in Winnetka, Illinois. In addition to her work at MSA, Hannah Mira enjoys playing viola in the Evanston Symphony Orchestra, playing ice hockey, and spending time in public spaces, especially when music or dancing is involved!
